Copyright and Takedown Policy

Last updated: June 6, 2026. Get Videos is intended for lawful use and does not host media files.

Respect for creators and rights holders

Visitors should only download content they own, created, have permission to save, or are legally allowed to use. Public availability does not always mean permission to copy, repost, commercialize, or redistribute.

Creators, publishers, and platforms keep their rights in the media, titles, descriptions, thumbnails, trademarks, and other materials they own.

What Get Videos owns

The Get Videos name, site copy, interface, layout, logos, code, and original materials are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws, except where open-source licenses or third-party ownership apply.

You may not copy, modify, translate, resell, misbrand, or create confusing copies of the service or its branding without permission.

No ownership of third-party media

Get Videos does not host videos, upload media, create copies on its own servers, or claim ownership of third-party content. The tool displays available browser-download options when a supported public source exposes them.

Because the original media is hosted elsewhere, the fastest way to remove a video from the internet is usually to contact the platform that hosts that media.

Reporting copyright concerns

If you believe the service is being used in a way that violates your copyright, contact [email protected] with your name, contact information, identification of the copyrighted work, the Get Videos page or submitted URL involved, the original platform URL, and a clear explanation of the issue.

Please include a statement that you have a good-faith belief the disputed use is not authorized by the rights holder, its agent, or the law, and that the information in your notice is accurate.

How reports are handled

We review copyright and safety reports and may remove references, block specific URLs, restrict use, or take other reasonable steps when a report appears valid. We may ask for more information if the report is incomplete.

Reports about media hosted by another platform may need to be submitted to that platform as well, because Get Videos cannot remove files from services it does not operate.

Repeat misuse

We may block or limit access associated with repeated copyright misuse, attempts to bypass restrictions, or reports that show the service is being used for unlawful copying.
